Hi, I’m Stacey and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing online psychotherapy and counseling for highly sensitive people and introverts in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Ohio. I specialize in working with in highly sensitive people and introverts struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, as well as sex and intimacy issues. Advanced training in high sensitivity, transgender mental health, and sex therapy allow me to serve the diverse identities of my clients from a holistic wellness foundation.
I bring personal experience as a woman in tech, mother of two, and psychotherapist into my sessions to listen deeply and empower you towards the next steps in your journey.
My Journey to Becoming an Online HSP Therapist
The first 20 years of my career was in the fields of technology and computer science, project and program management, and lastly entrepreneurship. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Georgia and a MBA from New York University. I have worked for major consulting companies and also as a small business providing project management, development, and consultation services.
Personal events (relocation, marriage, kids) brought about a time of reflection and reassessment as coping mechanisms of perfection, people-pleasing, and achievement no longer served me.
Counseling and mindfulness based stress relief led me to discover the transformative power of psychotherapy for my life and relationships. After much reflection, I was drawn to make a major shift in my career and become a psychotherapist. In this role, I’m honored to be able to help my clients along their own journey of transformation and healing.
Highly Sensitive Person Therapist Near Me
I now focus exclusively on providing online sessions. Working online allows me to connect with clients outside of the Atlanta metro area as well as convenient local online therapy to those in Tucker, Decatur, Brookhaven, and throughout the Atlanta Metro area.
